Dedicated to her little girl and passionate about beekeeping, sales, and innovations in refrigeration engineering, Gina is the person who ensures the workflow in the company by identifying new opportunities on the international market, by maintaining and creating relationships with customers, but also by managing orders from customers.
In 2004, Gina joined the Technoelectric team as Sales Manager, and then, in 2006, she made a change in her career, becoming Production Manager. Ten years later, she returned to her passion, sales, currently holding the Sales Manager position.
Regarding her responsibilities in the sales department, we can mention sales activities – from the elaboration of offers to their realization to the preparation of customer visits – and the execution and implementation of specific procedures to achieve the maximum level of customer needs.
Geanina mentions that among the mutual values she has with the Technoelectric team, they are: involvement, communicativeness, exigency, and honesty. All these contribute to the successful fulfillment of the two biggest challenges encountered in her position:
o Maintaining and improving the relationship with customers;
o Finding solutions in extreme situations (delivery deadlines exceeded, etc.)
Between emails and discussions with clients, Gina also found time to answer a series of questions about her work within the company:
1.What do you like most about your job?
The diversity of daily requests, which results in the continuous enrichment of knowledge in the field. I like the team I work with and the fact that it is a dynamic job, as I am an active person.
2. Tell us about a great victory within the company or a memorable experience.
I think the biggest victory, but also an experience, is that I worked in almost all Technoelectric departments: design, sales, production, service, and supply. Thus, I have a broad and detailed view of the entire activity carried out within the company.
3. What does it mean to work, as a woman, in your activity area, and a highly technical field?
Being a woman in a ” man’s world”, as it is the technical field is considered a great advantage. In both departments (production and sales) where I worked for a long time, I had and still have male colleagues with whom I worked directly, the collaboration being very valuable.
4. What are the strengths that help you in your professional activity every day?
There are many necessary characteristics that my professional activity requires, and some of them are:
– efficient communication;
– honesty;
– fairness towards colleagues;
– determination not to leave things unresolved;
– dynamic personality;
5. Did you receive any advice from a colleague who helped you in dealing with customers? If so, what is it? Have you put it into practice during your activity?
Within the company, I learned that it is important to take responsibility for my mistakes and to value my qualities.
